Kasa is an ambient wall light, not a security floodlight. Wall mount. Drill two holes, screw in the bracket, hang the rattan shade. The solar panel mounts separately wherever it gets direct sun — connected by cable. Works on brick, rendered, timber, and Colourbond surfaces. A full hardware kit is included. Most people are done in 10 minutes, no electrician required.

Kasa has a USB-C charging port for exactly this reason. On cloudy days, plug in for 3–4 hours and you'll have a full charge — enough for 12 hours of light that night. When the sun returns, solar takes over again. Dual power means Kasa never goes dark, even through a grey Melbourne week.

Kasa uses a standard E27 socket. When a bulb eventually dims, just pick up any E27 bulb, screw it in, and it's good as new. No need to replace the whole light.

PE rattan is polyethylene — not natural rattan. It's the same UV-resistant, waterproof, mould-proof material used in quality outdoor furniture. It won't warp, fade, or deteriorate in Australian sun and rain. The matte black metal bracket is anti-rust. Kasa is IP54 rated and designed to live outside permanently.
