In natural daylight, the difference is nearly invisible — but unlike natural rattan, PE won‘t rot, crack, or fade in Australian sun and humidity.

Absolutely. When the solar panel isn’t in use, simply plug in the USB-C cable and use it as an indoor boho light. Place it on any flat surface — no need to stake it into soil. It works beautifully in a living room, bedroom, or covered alfresco.

Open the bottom cap, unscrew the old E27 bulb anticlockwise, screw in a new low-voltage E27 LED bulb (3W-5W recommended, ≤6V DC), and close the cap. It takes about two minutes with no tools. These bulbs are widely available online and in hardware stores.

The 8-10 hour runtime is based on ON1 auto mode or ON2 medium brightness. At maximum brightness (ON2 high mode), runtime is approximately 6-8 hours from a full charge. At low brightness, runtime can extend beyond 10 hours.

The iron frame has a rust-resistant surface treatment, and the PE rattan wrapping protects it from direct rain contact. In high-humidity coastal environments like the Gold Coast or Darwin, we recommend an occasional visual check and treating any surface spots with a rust inhibitor spray.
